With 45% of global emissions coming from the material side of the economy, the need to transform the linear take-make-dispose economy has never been more pressing. A few months ago, the CE-Hub was lucky enough to be asked to join the judging panel for the eBay Circular Fashion Innovator’s Fund. In partnership with the British Fashion Council, eBay awarded a total of £100,000 to six businesses which all provide circular fashion solutions. We had the pleasure of catching up with many of the winning businesses to find out more about what they do and how they’re contributing to making fashion more circular.
Among the winners was Circular Inc who offer strategic solutions for apparel brands across design, sourcing, repair, upcycling and education, to help brands make the move to a profitable sustainable circular economy. In this podcast, Oli Pepper speaks to us about his motivations for the business and the importance of bringing about change within the fashion industry.
