Green Alliance
Founded in 1979, Green Alliance is an independent think tank and charity focused on ambitious leadership for the environment. Green Alliance works with the leaders in business, NGOs and politics to accelerate political action and create transformative policy for a green and prosperous UK, and has three key aims: to turn UK political ambition on climate and nature into rapid action; to promote effective solutions for a fair transition to a green economy; to push the boundaries to find new answers to complex environmental problems. Working across four main policy themes – ‘Political Leadership’, ‘Low Carbon Future’, ‘Natural Environment’, and ‘Greening the Economy’ – Green Alliance aims to provide the commentary, analysis, evidence base and policy recommendations necessary to drive forward UK environmental leadership.
