Moving towards a circular MedTech sector – CE Hub Lunchtime Webinar
On Thursday 7th March, the CE-Hub held the official launch of the first of their CEctor reports entitled the MedTech Spotlight Report: accelerating circular adoption with a webinar discussing the findings and impact of the report.
The webinar provided invaluable insights into how embracing the circular economy can empower the MedTech industry to address pressing challenges like global supply chain volatility, material scarcity, carbon emission reductions, and tightening healthcare budgets.
During the event, attendees had the opportunity to delve into the report’s comprehensive analysis of the current state of circular economy maturity within the sector. It pinpointed crucial pain points while highlighting potential opportunities for value creation. Moreover, the report offered key recommendations at a systems level and outlined specific actions tailored to five key stakeholder groups.
Georgie Hopkins, MedTech Project Lead, took the audience through the report results before handing over to our guest speakers who shared the circular economy initiatives in their individual organisations.
